Invitation from the ARPA President
I highly recommend the 4th Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA) National Injury Management Conference at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth entitled Wisdom & Innovation, to you.
This aptly titled Conference, challenges us to consider health, well being and best practice restoration and return to work, in a whole new light and from a variety of directions. We will hear from experts on the leading edge of new thought on how to drive cultural and behavioural change around health, illness and work as well as influencing and making a difference at the individual level to achieve the results that in the past may have eluded us.
The Conference will require policy makers and regulators to consider how they can embrace the new challenge to innovate traditional and out-dated state and territory based approaches to workplace health, as we move to a Nationally Consistent Framework for Workplace Rehabilitation Providers.
Finally, we will learn how to adopt a ‘whole of brain’ approach to recovery and return to work by engaging the right brain with the rational left brain and turn knowledge into wisdom.
2010 represents a new era for the workplace rehabilitation sector. This conference will prepare you for the exciting road ahead.
I look forward to seeing you in Sydney from the 16th to 18th May 2010.
